 So I have my first 2 designs and now ?
I have been researching for quite sometime on the dos and donts of this tshirt business. I came up with a lot of great ideas and some far out ones like... getting into screen printing initially to parallel with my brand. After reading some posts and reviews and other information about the screen print game, I realize that it is a definite but just not right now. I want to focus more on my designs, marketing or (lack of) [I prefer to do the limited quantity/ high quality route]. Pretty much I have decided to go 100% in the t-shirts. For the first collection I am going to outsource to this local screen printing shop down the street from me. Its a bit expensive but the quality and turn around times are exceptional. Plus I can always drop in and check out my shirts and the progress they made.
So what is next, how many should I print first. I have 2 designs. I did not make an online presence yet and decided to team up with sarah from intercontext to come up with a start up plan. But I will take any ideas on the next path I should take.
