Default Shrinkage!

Looking to start my company, got a foot in the door.
I'm having troulbe locating a brand that won't shrink. I've tried a few samples and put them through the wash a few times, only to find that they have lost 1-2 sizes.

What brand do you guys & gals find not to shrink. Or at least withstand shrinkage the best.

Thanks in advance.

Every t-shirt will shrink over time. If you are concerned about shrinkage, by preshrunk shirts. All major brands carry preshrunk shirts. You may pay a bit more though.

I do preshrunk Ts, yes it is more expensive, but in "my eyes" better quality! I love the Authentic Pigment Ts.

Also, I think 50/50 tees will shrink less than 100% cotton tees because of the decreased cotton content.

But must shirts will shrink some if not washed properly, and not all customers will wash t-shirts in cold water. I wouldn't let it hold you up

Are we supposed to wash the shirts first, then use the heat press machine to press the design onto the shirt or other way around?

I am using the Jerzees ZT. It is a 6.0 oz. ring-spun 100% cotton t-shirt. I compared 15 different t-shirts from 5 manufacturers and found this one to be the best. It was also the most expensive of the bunch at $1.80 in white. I get them from ssactivewear.com but you do need a tax id.
