how do you get your blank t shirts to the printers?
Hi
I live in the Uk and i just ordered some blank tees online. As i have no experience in printing, i will be sending them to the printers. My question is do i have them delivered to my address and then send them to the printers or i can tell the company delivering the blank tees to deliver them to straight to the printers ?
2, what is the best method of printing will last and not fade after some few wash?
Screen printing or any other good ones?

Hi Okelly
you should be able to get the company you bought the blanks from to delivery to your printers - this way it wont cost you to either redeliver or transport them yourself to the printers. You might want to let the printers know that you are doing so, and that they will accept the delivery - otherwise they won't know where the delivery has come from.
As for printing methods, it all depends on your designs really. Your printers should be able to give you some advice on that.
Re: how do you get your blank t shirts to the printers?
As Rich said, its cheaper to have them shipped directly to your printer.
Also, before you place your order, have your printer quote you for those same shirts and see if he is cheaper. I found when I ordered directly from my printer, he never charged me for shipping.

Guys thanks for the advice are you from the US or Uk?
i saw this website clothing clearance.co.uk and their tees comes in a pack say 24 white medium. that means if i want them in different colours and sizes i will have to buy alot of packs for that price and i don't know if that is the best price available. I tried American Apparel and i was told i had to have a registered business to buy from them.

Hi Okelly - im in the UK
All depends on the quality of the shirts, which depends on the finish you are going for on your designs really, which means the 'best price' is effected by your take on your finished poduct.
You will also need to buy in bulk to get the best price, havent seen clearance.co.uk as the url didnt work, but if it is a discounted site then you might be worth buying inbulk from them if you are doing a set run of the same design you might make a saving. I personally wouldnt advise it if you are trying to get some consistency in your design lines, and want to make repeats on your shirt designs you might find that you cant get the same blank at the same price again, as they are just clearing out some stock they might not stock in future.
For wholesale prices try pencarrie.com - you might find that you still need to be a registered business tho?

Thanks Rich,
Ireally appreciate your advice, i Got intouch with a printing company and they offered to supply the blank tees also, these are Gildan shirts for 1.50 each, printing £10.00 on white tees and 12.00 on colours (DTG). I m still not sure on the price.
Also for someone starting up, how important is having your tags in your tees?
