I don't understand the route Ed Hardy is going, they are selling in Costco stores now. Another thing I hate is Ed Hardy produces Skateboards when Ed Hardy is not even affiliated in the skateboard industry. I'm a true skateboarder affiliated in the skateboard industry and I hate how companies who are not in the skateboard industry, produce skateboards and everything around that.

Doesn't surprise me. They've been acting like a bargain basement brand for at least a couple of years now - they're in all kinds of lowend chain stores over here. They just somehow maintain their credibility with the wealthy anyway. Perhaps a case of the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing.
Christian Audigier's previous brands (e.g. Von Dutch) worked exactly the same way. He builds them up, wrings them out, then starts again.

Ed Hardy is going away, or soon will go away so he is capitalizing as much as he can before it goes away. Fashion is a cycle and nothing will ever stay forever. He will most likely come up with something else soon to replace Ed Hardy.
Dang that's nuts, I didn't even know Ed Hardy is in Ross or TJ Maxx. I totally understand the cycle process of the fashion industry, I really want to observe the industry in all ways and come up with new ideas as years progress. I wouldnt want to be one of those clothing labels that come into the industry for a good 5 years, then never be seen again. I want to constantly progress with new styles and designs.
That label Smet almost look's exactly like Ed Hardy, with all the skull designs. I think the skull designs are done, not unless you twist them in a unique way.
Don't assume just because he is in Costco, that he wants to be in Costco.
I recall a couple of years ago Trek sued Costco for selling bikes acquired from a distributor or retailer. Trek's argument was we only sell through authorized dealers.
