 Help,Advice, on screen printing business?
Wassup guys and gals?
Well lets get straight to the point, me and a friend have been is the talks for a clothing line for sinces grade school, now we both working so we gonna get things rollings and I have alot of questions so i'll start but first heres a brief summary, its 2 people starting our business in a garage and only starting with single color designs that are more basic as of right now. on to the questions...
1. We dont want a middle man so we want to print our selfs but can find a good start up kit to print "shirts" so we decided to go with the yudo,now is this a good move? we know it will be a bit more time consuming but will it be ok tell we get our name out there? then when we get more feed back and see $$ coming in we will of course upgrade,too maybe a 4 color station with the whole flash dryer and everything..
2.now if i dont have a flash dryer how can i dry my prints fresh out the screen?
3.What exactly do i need to be legal? sellers permit? business license? or can i do it as free lance?
4.which design programs will be best for designing?
5.where can i buy blank shirts in bulk? i know i can go to Los Angeles and buy in bulk but was wondering if there was sites that sold for pretty cheap?
6.whats are the first steps i should take before starting up the business?
I have more questions just cant think to straight right now,
