ok I am new one here and I really need help so I am sorry If I sound noobish, I wonder if anyone of you can help me :].
You see my t-shirt has been stolen, then i retrieved my t-shirt but the person who is suspected of stealing my t-shirt claims that she bought it.You see it's rather rare t-shirt, I bought it almost 8-9 years ago in CHicago i Roling Stone music store, and this person claims that she bought it in Ireland this year, in Cork city.Now if I have RN number and manufacturer of my T-shirt is it possible to find out where this t shirt was bught last time? I tried to type-in, in RN search but it didn't found anything. the RN numebr of my Pearl Jam T-shirt is 38819 and it was made by Anvil knitwear inc. NY

The RN is a required number for government agencies to track illegal activity (sweat shops, slavery, child labor, etc.) The RN number can prove the right manufaturer and where the shirt was made. It is the responsibility of the company to keep legit records of all manufacturing, and this is just another way to track it. The RN is not the same as a serial number. If a shirt is stolen, good luck finding it. It would be crazy to put a number on a shirt for each piece manufactured. Billions and billions are made each year.

Yes, every shirt from that manufacturer. Every Hanes shirt will have the same RN (whether it's a singlet or a children's t-shirt or a Beefy T), every Anvil shirt will have the same RN, etc. etc.
