Other cheap alternatives to American Apparel?
From what I've read thus far, Anvil fashion fit tees are very comparable in feel and are quite cheaper than AA.
Any other brands/makes I should look into(in the $1-$4) range?

Re: Other cheap alternatives to American Apparel? Hi! I'm really new to this forum and the t-shirt business. Do you know what number that t-shirt is with Gildan, right now I can't afford the American Apparel and I would like something of good quality, nice fit and feel and doesn't shrink or go out of shape after you wash it a couple of times. I can get Gildan here in Canada at a decent price for just starting.
Thank you
Debbie

Re: Other cheap alternatives to American Apparel? There is a company royal apparel and if you try searching it, its (.net) not (.com). I was told that this guy started AA with the lady that owns it now, but they were butting heads and he went off and started RA. It's good quality, not AS expensive and not alot of people know about them.

Re: Other cheap alternatives to American Apparel? Thank you Solmu, that is a great help. There are so many tees out there. I want to place my order today and wanted to make sure I wasn't ordering a real low quality.

Re: Other cheap alternatives to American Apparel? I will be trying both the anvil and gildan ringspun cotton shirts to see if they can compare.

Re: Other cheap alternatives to American Apparel? Anvil is a good alternative. My personal preference is Tultex, a brand made for TSC.

Re: Other cheap alternatives to American Apparel? my opinion is that bayside is in the same boat as port authority. which is worse than gildan.
