Default Transfer from Printer Quality?

Is there a certain type of ink needed when printing on transfer paper, I seen this video on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDdY4a9ChKc) and it just seems that it might not hold up well

I do not have a cutter atm, and will be buying one soon, I’m trying to decide what to buy, I’ve seen cutters that print and cut, and then there are the ones that just cut

Seems to me that the cutter is the way to go, I’m a screen printer and only need it for vinyl cuts from time to time for the most part, but being able to do some good quality transfers with full color would be nice for low quantity orders

What inks are needed to give good quality transfers? (Or at least better quality transfers)

The guy in this video is using a lexmark printer, mainly wanting to know if anyone has done a multi color print with standard ink from a printer...and how the ink holds up, or do you need to get another type of ink for better quality
