Hey guys-
I am designing some shirts for my organization. I know you can get pretty good quality with
DTG (you can too w/ screens, but need much more screens). Someone's told me tho, that with
DTG, the ink doesn't last as long- and will fade/crack/peel quickly. Unfortunately, most people won't take the time to turn a shirt inside out, and only wash it on cold. They'll just throw it in the laundry with all the rest. So for those reasons, it seems like Screen Printing is the way to go.
Is there any truth to that statement- does screen printing last & wear longer/better than
DTG? I have a shop offering to do
DTG on their T-Jet, but want to verify the longevity of a
DTG process over screen.
Thanks!
