You can't rely on the weight of a case as the shipping box is a couple of pounds.
Depending on which styles you are talking about, the Anvil and the AA could weigh significantly different. Which Anvils and AA's? What sizes? Male, female. Etc. Your artwork will add weight. A lot of variables.
Only way for you to know for sure is to get your shirts done and weigh each size.
The shirts that we plan on printing on are the Anvil shirts 979 and 978. We want to include the price of shipping in the cost of the shirt, but need to figure out the rough cost for shipping so that we can figure out pricing for the shirts. Small to Extra Large are the only sizes that we will sell.
Your best bet will be Go to Local Post Office, Check whats your Weight and see what they come up with cost. Usually, They are helpful to you with these kind a stupid questions even. Infact, you are going to help them in future?
I would def check local PO instead of searching all over forum because some old posts might not help due to Changes in Prices of any service(UPS, FEDex....).

I use Anvil 5.5 oz with tearaway labels a lot for shirts I sell of designs we make.
The shirt with a half a sheet of paper(invoice) and the Tyvek envelope come out to about 6.4 to 9 oz depending on the size of the shirt. Prices go from around 2.19 to 2.70ish.

Since assumably you will not have different prices based on size, just take an XL along with the envelope and any other inserts to the post office and weigh. Then you'll know exactly what to charge for all shirts.
