I need some advice and opinions from the professionals on branching out to a new business model.

I currently have an established brand that is embellished with silk screened transfers, heat sealed appliques and heat sealed labels.

I am considering selling the transfers, appliques and labels outright, as a kit or as separates for others to make and sell the garments. I would also supply hang tags as well as other product. Names, logos and designs are all protected and there will be guidelines as to how the product may be used.

I will add value through advertising and promotions.

I can also provide tradeshow booths, retail POS displays and leads to the resellers for possible sales.

My desire is to get out of the garment embellishment business selling the finished products to the end user or to retail outlets.

I realize there is always a quality issue when you allow others to "make" your product but I believe this could be a next good step in the development of the business.

Any opinions and/or advice are greatly appreciated.
