Default Tapout - Printing Question

Does anyone know what method Tapout uses to print their t-shirts? Are these screen printed? I love the way the look. Here are links to two examples:

TAPOUT - Bad For The Sport!

TAPOUT - Bad For The Sport!

Any thoughts/help is appreciated.

Thanks, Jason

Both your links are the same.

It's hard to tell from their site. They are using mock ups of artwork on t-shirt templates.

If I had to guess I would say they are using a combination of different methods. Some are discharge, some waterbased and some plastisol.

Sorry about the repeat links. Thank you for your quick response. Do you know of any resources where I could learn more about each of those methods?

some of the designs must be made with DTG [direct to garment] & some of them can be done with Screen Printing Easily. I doubt if they using any vinyl/Heat transfer method. anyone agree?

"discharge, waterbased and plastisol" are not methods. correct me if i am wrong because my knowledge is very small & I too started learning this stuff through this forum a month ago.

Regards,

If not methods, then how would you describe discharge, waterbased and plastisol?

They are screenprinted. The oversize designs are waterbased ink or discharge. I was contacted by their production manager to put in a bid on a job last summer.

is plastisol a new method? i am very new to this. i just started learning from this forum a month ago. do you have any experience with Plastisol. Can you tell me if its Ink or Some kind a Technique with can be used with Vinyl cutter or screen printing? is plastisol different from INKJET/Laser Trasfers which can be done through Vinyl? or its being used in Screen printing. i think i have read a lot the word "Plastisol Ink" in forum so i thought you talking about "water based Ink or Plastisol Ink". i am unknowledgeable so can help to put those words in my mind dictionary.

NiL

i have checked some out first hand being that style is hugely popular in my area. They seem DTG or discharge from feel, very soft. They have alot of styles though so Im sure its a mix.

Plastisol is the type of ink commonly used in screen printing.

Plastisol is also a type of high quality heat transfer that is basically screen printing (with plastisol ink) on transfer/release paper.
