Default Ever make "Art Prints" of your designs?

I was at an art show today and was checking out the booths of photographers, and artists, and they were selling prints of their work on canvas or paper, sometimes plain, other time Giclee.

Hey, we all have our share of egos and think our designs would be popular on all sorts of things (heck, CafePress is proof of that! License plate anyone? Pad of Note Paper?)

I was wondering if anyone ever made "Art Prints" of their designs, and if so, where they were printed, framed, etc.

I'm going to start looking into it. Might be a cool idea.

Sorry, I cannot answer your question, but this is something that i'd also be interested in doing sometime in the future.

I'd like to know if anybody here as done this, and how everything turned out.

I did some research on-line yesterday and read that some artists are using very good Cannon printers, with very good paper I assume.

I am heading to an art show today. I plan on asking an artist it two how they get theirs done.

If you're interested in printing on photo paper, Walmart Photo Center is the place to go. I've printed various things through their online photo center, and it always processes and ships very fast, not to mention phenomenal quality! The best part is the price - for one-offs, the prices are really low compared to competitors (like Kinkos), as far as I know. You might want to check it out!
