Iwas going to sell on ebay, but I looked into the other 2 and now I'm not sure of what to do. I want to do them all, but I know that can be a lot of work to start out with.

If you are talking about selling products through an online marketing vehicle, there are 2 very well known online marketing vehicles. They get tons of traffic. There are a few where you pay $.10 per click or $.10 per purchase. I don't think I can disclose them in the forum. If you want to know more about them, let me know and I'll PM the info to you.
All sorts of clothing are sold. Brand names, new brands, contemporary, you name it...One is owned by Ebay, Inc.

I'm sorry, but I didn't say selling to or thru. I said "selling on". As in with a store by one of these companies.
And I would like to know the name of the other 2 companies if you could please.

I used to sell on eBay. Got a lot of traffic, sold decent amount of Ts. But having a store on eBay is getting more and more expensive, if you add up all the fees that take about 20% of your money. So I decided to leave eBay and have an "independent" store. Less traffic, but I get to keep more of my own money. We'll see how it goes...

Jambo.
You keep most of the money now? Or did less traffic = more $$?
I would think that the 20% might not matter over all if you can convert more sales off ebay than your own site. But are you just talking traffic and not over all sales?

Google has a marketplace to sell in??? As far as i know they do not. They do have Adwords (PPC) and froogle/base which is free, but you arent actually selling 'on' it, both direct people to your website.
Ebay is a massive expense, i would say 50% of my profits go to them, maybe even more. But 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing. It also is very competitive.
Also setup your own site. Most people who sell on Ebay have their own website, you can also try and get your ebay customers to buy from your website in an aftersale email.

I didn't know Google has a place where you can have a store? That's what confused me.

You are more than welcome to disclose them in the forum. You don't have to keep secrets here We just don't allow self promotion (of your own sites/services) in the forum threads. If you have a marketing site worth noting, feel free to share

Ok, LOL! Here it is in a nutshell.
Here is a brief summary of how it works. Too much to explain here, it would be best to peruse the site thoroughly after reading this post. The two online shopping sites, marketing vehicles are:
Shopping.com
Shop.com
Shopping.com - is owned by Ebay, Inc. You would pay on a "Cost per Click" basis. I don't think that would be the most cost effective route only because you will be charged when the customer clicks on your website even IF THEY DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM YOUR SITE. The cost ranges from $.10-$.25 depending. Again they receive more than 1million visitors per month, its probably more. Go to their website and peruse it thoroughly. Scroll down to "Join Our Merchant Program" and you will see all the info there.
Shop.com - you pay on a "Cost per Order" basis. What's great about that you will be charged when a customer purchases an item from your site. Scroll down to "Join Our Marketplace" and you will find the info there.
These two marketing vehicles are a great way to start, just to get your site out there, build brand awareness, etc.. Again there are lots of visitors on both sites.
You should do your own analysis on CPC vs. CPO, how many shoppers per category, how many visits per link, getting your site in the "New Lines" section, where your link would come up the moment someone clicks to the Clothing or T-shirt section, etc. There are many different ways on how to market your line on shopping.com and shop.com.
You can't really lose here. Try it out...you never know
Good Luck!

I'm sorry for misleading you guys. Thanks for pointing that out Rodney. I just don't know much about this, so I worded it wrong. But I'm glad you guys explained, I'm getting a li'l more clear here.
Also thanks Sunshine for the 2 sites. I think pay per order is better than pay pre click at this point.
