Default T-Shirt Hell Shuts Down

Creator Aaron Landau Schwarz aka Sunshine Megatron had this to say on his exit.

I would like to Apologize for fans of the site, being the submitting person of "It's not gay if you beat them up afterward".

I sent a apology to Sunshine as well earlier.

Big, big shame! Inspirational to me. Another victim of 'Political Correctness'.

Wow that's crazy, especially because he has always been so against caving to opposition. I guess it moves to another level when you start fearing for your life though...

Yeah, when you start getting your food poisoned by these opposers, it moves to another level.

My apologies for not giving a warning for the vulgarities. I realize this is a family-friendly site.

He makes super-offensive t-shirts and is then surprised that people are offended. Is this a gimmick to sell more shirts?

He wasn't surprised that people were offended. He just got tired of dealing with the nutjobs that were.

Sad day. They did have some truly funny stuff.

I don't know what to think really. I personally think the mans story is excellent, how he got to where he is now is amazing. The journey hes been through since the beginning of his ventures. One example is of course, his name change to Sunshine Megatron.

If people still can't tell by now that this guy is a pure joker, literally, just in it to make a large group people out there laugh and to be inspired by. As I am sure, other people, along with myself will agree that political correctness is becoming rediculous.

Tshirthell has always and will always be one of the best, genuine, what you see is what you get t-shirt sites out there. Nobody could simply imitate what they do ever again, after all it was all down to that one man. He has the ideas. That's all you need to succeed, originality.

Of course he isn't surprised. He already knew before he began the amount of hate he'd get. The man has come to his senses and thought, enough is enough. Time to call it a day! You just can't go on forever, your born on this earth with nothing, you die with nothing - you need to enjoy whats here whilst you have the chance.

If you can now realise his thought process in this then I'm sure you can understand why Sunshine has chosen this path to take.

I'm not sure if it's real or a stunt. Or if it's real now and then he'll change his mind later with the renewed press about the site (or feedback from people who liked the site)

I read in one newsletter that his other site torsopants shut down a couple months back, but then he recently opened it back up.

He sounds very angry for someone who just realizes it is time to move on.

I have a handful of their shirts in my closet currently. Before I made my own shirts, I definitely bought the funny ones! I think they definitely charge a premium for their shirts, but if they can get away with it...

I got their email, and came on here to find it already posted. I hope it is not a gimmick just to sell tshirts...and at 10% off his tshirts at 19$/shirt are a STEAL!

I think its a marketing ploy and if not the market will be swallowed up quickly.

I agree too! With the economy being this bad buisnesses try to find different ways to market there stuff and also get more attention. Im not being a hater, but just by reading his comments sounds like a really rude buisness person and seems like it doesn't make sense . I own some of his t-shirts as well and love them. I also owned a funny and offensive t-shirt website that sold some pretty damn offensive stuff as well, got lots of emails from people too(that didn't bother me) but eventually had to shut down due to the economy downturn.
