The guy had alread sold about 4000 of these shirts in a few weeks at $20 each. Now he gets a 2 minute commercial broadcast worldwide that even shows his web address. He probably sold another 4000 the day the story was first shown!

Anyone wanna buy some t-shirts???
You can wear the shirt just not thru an airport or on a plane. You would be stopped by Homeland Security. Probably just the same in mass transit as the NYC subway system.

Stopped in the subways of NYC because of a shirt with Arabic. I dont think so. Theres a huge arab population. they arent stopping people becuase of a t-shirt.
Just relaying information from the TV spot seen the other night. (Not necessarily stopped but maybe overly scrutinized.)
I have traveled to Dubai and Pakistan several times this year for work..I stay away from bringing anything back in Arabic or Urdu...because of the this scrutiny...not saying its right but its just the way the way it is...

People get scrutinized for less, like having olive skin and beards. Ask any Sikh.
This does bring up an interesting point, though. I have seen a LOT worse and more offensive t-shirts, usually sexually-oriented, being sold on websites like tshirthell. Yet I never see them being worn -- and probably like all of you, I notice every unusual shirt I see. There must be an entire market segment of t-shirts that are bought and given for the laugh and shock factor -- "I gotta get Joe this t-shirt!" but they're not necessarily intended to be worn.
Of course as t-shirt vendors we'll take their money no matter what they're going to do with the shirt, but I wouldn't have guessed that people would buy them for this purpose.
That guy is a jackass. There's nothing even remotely funny about such a thing. God knows one of these people (the wearers) will find themselves in hot water when they have a gun pointed at them from a civilian / po who is unaware that the t-shirt is fake from a 5 yard or so distance.

Yea, but not in NYC...That was my point.

The whole reason it is funny is becuase of people like you who over-react to a joke.

Jokes imply humor, that shirt isn't humorous in the least. If he's going for a "light hearted joke" maybe he should point his efforts in a different direction.
