I gave two of my t shirts to a non-profit organization for a raffle/fundraiser. Attached my business card to each shirt, ended up getting a number of sales from this. I figured you need to get your name out there and your product seen. Plus you can write off the donation for tax purposes.

I feel as your business grows, you should give away a few free-bees here and there . .
I sponsored the local High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad this year -- 22 t-shirts in all
each tee required 4 pressings . . so that was like working on 88 tee's . .
the front of the Tee's were for the Cheerleading Squad and the back of the tee's was for my business ad . . front bottom was the individuals name and back bottom was High School mascot
so it cost me less than $75.00 for advertisement
the girls wear the T-shirts once a week for the whole school year . .
the only thing I asked for in return - was a picture of girls to post in my store . .

since the fire at the market last month . . the flow of traffic has been interrupted . . so biz has been slow for the month of October . . my shop is approx 200 feet from the firewall . . so we didn't have any damage whatsoever . . . now . . since my shop is the last shop on the block so to speak . . myself and 3 other vendors are trying to direct ppl down to the end of hallway by running specials and handing out flyer and such, to let ppl know we are still there and that we are open . . .

but I think we will be ok, . . we are all pulling together to make sure that ppl know that we are open at the end of the hallway . .
it sure helped out today . . .. today was a pretty good day . .

My store is kind of a 3 in 1 --- I have hand poured candles, awareness items, and I do alot of personalized gifts and alot of custom work

To be absolutely sure what he means, you should ask him. That way you'll get the clarification straight from the horses mouth

First, hi. Second, please start typing "in full", aim slang is hard to read.

A few questions, what kind of shirts do you make? Are they entertainment related? Are they geared towards the music / hip-hop crowd?

If so, start sponsoring some well known local DJ / mixers. Start sending out press packages to local radio stations, that kind of stuff. But most importantly, have a place people can access to purchase your products, aka a website.

Add some more background info and we'll figure something out.

Yes it is toward the hip hop urban crowd. This one guy I asked which I stated above didnt really give me any straight answers to my questions. I have to contact him again though about this. But having to do with dj's nd stuff liek that that is who I have contacted so far. I am going to be going to a few clubs and talk to the djs there and maybe hand out some flyers.
