It sure is quite difficult to get in contact with L.A. screenprinters. There are tons here however to get them to reply back to you, its like pulling teeth. I call and leave messages. When I do talk with them, I send them the designs via email (which require full wrap around printing) and I still don't hear back...I know screenprinters are extremely busy but so am I...I still manage to get back with my clients in a timely manner...Oh well, whatcha gonna do... Moving on to the next...

I got lucky. I did a search on Yahoo Maps to find the ones nearest me, called the one that was closest to my work, and it's worked so far. The owner actually answered the phone himself so I didn't have to go through the b.s. of poor communication that made me leave my last guy. I wish you luck.
I hear ya...the problem is that I have a day job and I just can't go at my leisure during the day, I run a high paced entertainment law firm and pr firm (office dictators)...LOL...so its hell...and screenprinters are not open on the weekends...furthermore they are mostly located in Gardena, Downtown L.A., O.C. and other locations not close to where I'm at during the day, which is Beverly Hills...I would think that sending descriptive emails to them would be easier, instead of being on hold for a longtime, speaking to them about the screenprinting process, which in fact, I don't understand the screenprinting process or lingo for that matter or leaving messages, transfering me from one department to the next, blah, blah blah...isn't that what emails are for?

Hrm... yeah, most screeners on your side of town will cost more than if you got the work done downtown or behind the orange curtain. I got lucky in that my screener is open until 6, I'm off at 5, and he's 15 minutes from work. I don't know what to tell you. I would think that they'd want to communicate and make money and increase their reputation but so many seem like customers are more of a burden than an opportunity. It really is why I left my last screener.
Wow...regarding this comment " but so many seem like customers are more of a burden than an opportunity." That's shocking to me! and here I am, reading to "give them money" funds available to spend and no reply back LOL!
I've been in contact with 7 screenprinters and still nothing...oh well...
I'm going to have to take a day off to do this and drive to them, which is very inconvenient for me...
