Why use paint when you can use screenprinting ink?

I Know but i just wanted to go a different route.I wanted something that dries hard and has a hard feel to it. It may sound crazy but i also want it to have a lot of ridges as well.plastisol is just a little too soft for me.

go to your local craft store and pick up any of the acrylic paints they are selling for toll painting. (plaid is a good one)

These will leave a firm marking, and you will be able to get edges and ridges quite well. This stuff will NOT wash out.....even after many many washings, bleachings, you name it!! The ridges if too high will become brittle tho.

Well, that would be why then

I don't have any experience in applying non-textile products to textiles, but it sounds like Robin's got you covered.
