Does anyone know a good type of paint to do stenciling with? i use decoart acrylic paint.but to me its a little watery.i want something very thick.almost to the consistancy of pudding or something like that? please help.
I Know but i just wanted to go a different route.I wanted something that dries hard and has a hard feel to it. It may sound crazy but i also want it to have a lot of ridges as well.plastisol is just a little too soft for me.
go to your local craft store and pick up any of the acrylic paints they are selling for toll painting. (plaid is a good one)
These will leave a firm marking, and you will be able to get edges and ridges quite well. This stuff will NOT wash out.....even after many many washings, bleachings, you name it!! The ridges if too high will become brittle tho.
I have painted on tees doing a screenprint and it was apple barrel. Bt it didnt realyl come out that hard. Try maybe galeria paint i tried to brush it on and it ended up being hard i kno miskeen uses that also
