Default Scratches on heat press

Hello,
I was wondering if I have small scratches due to having to scrape off the surface with a metal credit card to get stuff off from burning, they are pretty small scratches but i was wondering will they effect my prints at all?

Probably not. Press something and see.

More importantly, you shouldn't be using a metal credit card to clean your press. Buy some cleaner made for it. There is a product called easy off (not the home oven one) that seems to work pretty well.

You should also get in the habit of using a protective sheet (teflon, paper, etc.) to protect against this from happening.
