Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone out there in the states has an account with Independent trading?

They have some really nice hoodys and i wanted to sample one but was advised by them that they do not ship to the UK due to legal reasons???

Apparently as they have them shipped from China to the states they aren't allowed to ship them again for re sell which baffles me?

They advised the only way would be for someone who resides in the US to place an ordr and then they ship it over.

Would anyone be interested in doing this massive favour for me.
I will pay for the hoody and shipping costs once you work out the total.

Hope someone can help

My name is Kristi and I am a sales rep. for Independent Trading Co. I am not sure who you talked to at Independent but we can now ship to the UK from the USA in the past before 2009 the reason we could not ship from USA to the UK was not for "legal reasons" it was because of the US/China Quota Limits, our pullovers were under a US Customs Catergory that only allowed so many into the US and once they were imported into the US under quota status they are not allowed to be reapplied for quota into the UK which also had a quota limit for both pullovers and zips, we only drop ship factory direct with certain minimums. Bottom line is as of 2009 there are no more quotas in place in the USA and the EU and you can now purchase directly from Independent (no minimums) email me and I will hook you our account set up forms I will also give you some VERY good Pricing!

Sid have you tried the street hoodie by AWDIS? They are excellent quality, heavyweight and have a hidden ipod pocket, headphone loops and thumb holes in the cuffs. At the moment they are about £9 and come in some nice colours. AWDIS do a few hoodies and they are all excellent, I've used them a few times and customers love them.
