Just wondering how many folks out there feel that is really necessary to put a sizing chart on their website?

I don't. I think the S,M, L, XL, etc. sizes have been around long enough where people know what size they are. If you are using a product with a tighter fit, just say so and suggest upsizing.

If you're planning on selling internationally, a sizing chart is a good idea because sizing is different in different countries.

I think it is absolutley essential. There are so many size variations between styles and manufacturers that if you don't list them you are asking for many more returns.
