I'm wondering how much the site nekkidtees makes on t-shirts. They get around about 3,466 visits per day. According to statbrain.com. Is statbrain accurate?

Well, threadless has 10 times more visitors a day and makes $30 million. So do the math.

Of course, visitors is not always a good indication of sales.

It depends if the visits are unique or not. Having a website that is worth something does not matter unless its intended to sell. Selling clothing is where they make the money.

Impossible to tell, but let's just do a little theoretical math.

Theoretically, if 10% of those visits translated into a sale, then that'd be about 346 sales a day. If they make on average of $10 profit per shirt, then they're raking in $3,460 a day in PROFIT.

I'm sure this isn't correct.. but you get the idea.

You could also look at it this way. Threadless made $30 million on 13,568,875 annual hits. That equates to $2.21 per hit.

That would mean $2,656,689 on nekkidtees's 1.265,000 hits.

they are over rating sites. they have my site down as getting 347 hits a day, we only get 10-15 hits a day

Using Statbrain, I checked a site that I have and according to Google stats gets like 3 hits per day....Statbrain said 357 hits per day!
So, hard to say if they are accurate or not! But, I do know I get like 1 sale per 100 hits. Using Google stats. And, that's the truth!

Yeah that statbrain site is definitely inaccurate. While most of you are saying it over-rated your sites, it under-rated my site by far. I'm not sure how it works exactly, but maybe it has something to do with my site being relatively new. I've been building the site for about 2 months, but only really opened it to the public 2 weeks ago. Google Analytics says I get an avg of about 50 hits per day, while Statbrain says I get less than 10 hits per day! Way wrong.
