Curious as to what others on here think about this design. I'am thinking of going into the dtg business as supplement to my normal income to finish putting my Wife and Daughter thru college. I just need to know if this would violate any laws.
Thanks
im sure it does, being that you are using exact images of the teams trademarked logos?
You might want to be more original with the team slamming. That design has been around for years, and I don't know that it would sell as much as a new creative one might, especially for 20.00.
Well, to answer your question... yes. Calvin (whom I recognized before I even read that it was Calvin) is copyrighted, and I'm thinking the 49ers and all the other teams are also copyrighted, or trade marked. Unless you were to get the license from each team and Calvin's creator you would be in serious legal trouble for making those shirts. I don't think Calvin's creator would appreciate Calvin's image being used in this manner anyhow. Calvin was a brat with a twisted world view, but I don't think his creator would appreciate this usage of him.
No, I didn't care for the design either, but that's just my own personal opinion.

What is a total travesty, is that the individual concerned has got an awful aim. He is totally off target.
Those types of tees are available throughout Europe also and I don't think that there is one major team, that hasn't been 'soaked' by a cartoon instigator.
There's tons of these calvin decals and t-shirts here in california and ALMOST every shop is doing it here...
You should report them if they are profiting off of copyright infringement like that. The owner of Calvin and Hobbes should sue these companies that do this.
