Default Competition Research

Hello,

Any suggestions on the best way to research your competition? I'm looking into type of embellishments they use and how its manufactured.

Obviously I am not interested in finding or exposing trade secrets or patented information. Simply, how the companies are going about creating the products. If it available publicly, where would I go about finding the information? Just to further inform myself about specific companies out there that I deam competition.

If you just want to know about methods of printing and embellishment, there is a HUGE amount of info here in the forums. If you spend some time reading you will see what is popular with our members here.

By far the most common method for t-shirts is screen printing. This is especially true for larger companies.

If you see a specific t-shirt and you want to know how it was printed, post a picture of it here and someone will most likely be able to tell you.
