Question Best printing style for vector/photo logo?

Hi,

I have a logo for a company that originally included a silhouette of a photograph. I recently revamped their logo to include part of the photograph instead of just a solid black silhouette and they love it; they want to put it onto t shirts. So now the logo is a blue vector circle with a black and white photograph/airbrush in the center...lots of lovely gradients.

My question...which method of printing would be suitable for this? Not sure screen printing can do gradients, right?

Goin’ for quality though…cost isn’t an issue.

Thanks!!
~B

Yes, screen printing can do gradients

So if you want the best quality and cost isn't an issue, then I would suggest going with screen printing.

Since the photo is black and white it shouldn't even be a particularly complex job to screenprint.

Do most places do this? I usually use CustomInk for my shirts but they told me they could do a digital print instead. Do these come out well?

Yes, most screen printers should be able to do it. If customink can't (hard to say by their response), then just search around for other screen printers who can.

If you need specific recommendations, you can post in our new referrals area of the forum here:
http://www.t-shirtforums.com/referra...requests-here/

It may help to post a small version of the design there so people can get an idea of what you need done.
