I am looking for people's opinions on which company to use to start producing some of my company's shirt designs on. I need it to be good quality since they are going out as samples to friends, family, co-workers to get our name and products out there. I am also looking for a good printer someone can recommend. So many things so little time. Thanks all for your help.

What kind of printer? You mean like the actual desktop printing equipment, or a screen printer/heat press printer?
We don't do printing service recommendation posts here since so many of our members are printers of some type. Sometimes people can get tempted to recommend themselves Once you have 15 posts, you can make a service request in the Classifieds section of the forum.
There are tons of shirts available out there with different weights, blends and designs.
Most of the customers I deal with want a heavier weight (thicker) shirt because they think it is better quality.
I started out with getting the cheapest I could find to get product out and available, but have since moved on to a nicer brand I found at the PrintWear show in Indianpolis.
Long story short, get some samples and find what you like, then listen to your customers.
