Default color t-shirt transfer question

Hi, my name is Robin and I am new to this forum. My daughter is an artist and we put her art on t-shirts. We mainly use white shirts because I have not found a transfer for colored shirts that doesn't fade, crack or pick up the background colors. Does anyone have a suggestion about what type of transfer we can use. We have both an ink-jet printer and a laser printer, though we normally use the ink-jet. Thank you for any help you could give me.

Robin

Many users in this forum like Jet Pro Soft Stretch for light colored shirts and Iron all for dark colored shirts. These are transfers for inkjets. I personally have not used either, but there is alot of information on these products in the heat transfer section of the forum. There's even posts showing pictures of t-shirts made using this product after washing.

Hi Robin,

My partner and I just started doing this as well, and we have tried Alpha Gold for Darks, and it worked really well so far. We've done two washings, on in warm and one in hot water, and no problems yet. I think there are a number of threads about transfer paper, and I think some of them test to beat the band :-)
