Can you be more specific? Are you planning to do contract printing for other companies, brand printing to be sold retail, or???
If you're talking about retail you need to set your prices according to the market - research how similar products marketed to your target customer are priced and go from there.
If you're talking about contract printing, well, that's quite a science, too. One start may be to determine a shop rate - how much do you need to earn an hour to cover your costs, and how much do you need to make to keep the business going? Then figure out how long it takes you to do each step, what the other hard costs involved are, and set your rates accordingly for each step. |
