Default Info on Start up

Hello all, I am new to this and I am interested in collecting as much info as possible before even attempting to do something like this. I've been doing some research online but I wanna hear how others do it. I ahve several ideas for shirts but wouldn't know how to get the designs and shirts made, I see alot of you design your own stuff using programs like corel, im not that proficient at graphic design, have any of you hired a graphic designer and if so are we talking major dollars, also once the design is in place do I just find a local silk screen printer or are there better options online. Basic info to get me going in the right direction will be appreciated...

Hi,

I've used graphics guys to create designs in the past, and it has worked out very well. I do them myself mostly, now, but I'm still not as efficient at it as someone who only does that. You'll want to stick with someone who has done t-shirt designs for screen-printing before, because the art does need specific attention - especially if you plan to have your designs screen-printed.

Cost will vary depending on who you go with. A decent professional will create a t-shirt design for $300, but you can find someone who will do it for as low as $50 or as high as you're willing to pay.

Depending on your goals, you could license existing designs as well. It all depends on your vision and your business plan.
