Default What method

The design im currently working with is a celebrities face composed of words. The art is hand drawn, but were looking into getting it on shirts. But I'm having a hard time figuring out what method would be best to print. Since the words are small. What would be the best way to get the best quality?

It really depends on how small the words are, it they are very small dtg or sublimination would be good (although sublimination only works on light poly fabric). If the letters are of a decent size then screen printing would be good. I have seen super small text with screen that doesnt look clear and flakes off easily. How big is the lettering?

No bigger than an inch in a half at times, the fonts differ in size depending on the facial feature. I want something that will stay intact-like screen printing, but i dont want it to flake away. But i want it to be crisp. and have good quality, should i maybe look into doing two different methods, instead of just doign one...that would at least give it a bit more flair too i guess

I would look into both screen printing and dtg printing. It really also depends on the quantity you are wanting to print and the amount of colors in the design. I would read up on both. With dtg you can also get a sample made really easy, as with this process it is easy to do one offs.

I would also add that you could have plastisol transfers made. This would allow you to print the garments up as you need them. This would add the cost of a heat press, But would eliminate the cost of doing all your inventory at one time. This would also allow you to change colors of garments or types of garments t any time you want. ...... JB
