Default Drivers Of Demand

Hi all,

I am currently a student doing some research on the t shirt industry and i'm trying to get a sense for the market drivers. What have you found to be the main selling points to customers. Designs? price? quality? word of mouth marketing? online marketing?

That sort of thing. Thank you so much in advance!!!!!

Usually the quality of the design and the strength of the brand helps make the sale.

I don't usually find that people are on the lookout for a "cheap" t-shirt. That's a whole different market (Wal Mart, etc).

People want an original, funny, interesting design or a brand that they think is cool/worth supporting.

I love bright, original, fun things that make people actually take notice of the shirt.
So anything that makes me standout is what drives me to purchase.

Mass media class I took said we identify with brands at an early age and that it directly defines who we are and what we are about.
