Default Copyright / public domain question
I am new to the whole t-shirt business...I have done alot of research online concerning copyright laws. Everything I have found states that anything published prior to 1923 is now public domain.

I am having a hard time believing that all artwork from 1922 or earlier is public domain. Does anyone have any additional knowledge on this?

That is my understanding as well.....but I'm not a copyright atty. If you have any doubts, you should consult a real live atty.
