I saw your post and thought I would offer a sugguestion that might work for you.
If you live around a college or university, you might check with their Art Dept. about any (competent) students who might be interested in doing the work, either for photographing or modeling... or even for some new designs. I would reccommend looking at their portfolio ( or other work) first to see that their work is like though. I am a university student (graphic comm.) and know that there are plenty of students out there who put out quality work and would love the oppertunity to get the added experience and create a little cash for themselves on the side. You never know, it may open up some doors.
Hope this helps a little.

I've used t-shirtmodels before a few times and the photos have turned out great. He can also help you source other models that might fit better with your brand.
You could probably signup for a place like onemodelplace.com and find a photographer and models in your area to work with you.
Craigslist is a wondeful spot also. Just post your needs. Im a designer/stylist and i link with people all the time on craigslist. Have them send you a copy of their work so that no one waist any time.

Thanks for the post! It seems we're both on the same page- in need of t-shirt models.
Ditto on the earlier reply/suggestion to check with area colleges & universities. This is exactly what I had thought of doing. I'm sure that most struggling students would jump at the opp...!
