Which online sites have you tried for samples?

All kind of advice is posted here in the forums

You can even find referrals to t-shirt printers here:

You could probably find a good printer both ways.

If you had the right equipment you could: a screen printing setup with knowledge on how to run the equipment properly or a DTG printer with knowledge and experience to run the machine properly.

If you don't have that, yes, it would be better to outsource.

Most likely it is screen printed. Could be discharge screen printing or just some fashion soft screen printing inks.

It could also be printed with a DTG printer.

Hard to tell without seeing a closeup.

Try RawTalentInc.com, they do that type of screen printing. But really, lots of screen printers or DTG printers could do that type of work.

I did a search on yahoo under the local tab for t-shirts wholesale and it brought up a few screenprinters in our area that do contract work. You could also wearch wholesale screenprint, commercial screenprinting, clothing manufacturrer, etc.

Really not sure about the first design. It appears that this is a design mock-up instead of an actual printed design. The collar of the shirt is not printed and that portion of the design is missing. It could have been a cut and sew operation though. I would agree that the second design could be printed in a variety of different ways. Being a screen printer I would have to choose that way of good old plastisol ink with no flash to give that worn out distressed look.

I print for several MMA companies right now. They all want to use specialty inks and all over printing, so I am in the process of setting up my shop to accommodate these requests. PM for any questions.

Locally the only person I know and recommend that does discharge printing is Paradise Custom Screen Printing in Oakland Park. I can give you the address and phone number if you'd like, not sure if I am allowed to post it.

As for doing the shoulder designs, I don't know anyone locally that would have the tools and/or knowledge to do that, but Alex @ Paradise may be able to help you or know someone.

Anymore questions feel free to ask me, I am local to you and we are a supplier for screen printers.

I am also looking to do designs similar to floridatee, and i am in FTL. I have done my research locally and no one seems to be able to do discharge printing for oversized prints. I have been quoted by companies in California who will do discharge, all over printing but the minimums and price are too much at the moment. I am unfamiliar with paradise, so thanks for the info.
