 Differences between silk screens, direct printing, heat press???
Hello Everyone,
Im new to this forum and in the clothing industry. I was hoping someone can give me some suggestions. I created a logo and some designs. Ive been getting quotes on silk screens all over the country and the prices for the same quantity have been drastically different. Over the weekend i stumbled upon cafe press and seemed pretty cool. I never heard of direct printing until i saw it on that site. Not sure if ive seen it on shirts and didnt realize it. Does anyone know anything about direct printing? is it good quality? does it last? what about heat press? i have no clue except silk screening and even with that if seems some places have trouble doing halftones and cool effects that im trying to achieve. I dont want my shirts looking cheap. any info is greatly appreciated.
