I always see the shirts with family's pictures on them etc. They always look so faded even when the come out. If i buy a heat press thats good with a good printer will this happen?

Good ink and good transfer paper should do the trick

I make photo prints on tee's for people and they turn out great. I use an Epson C-88 printer with Epson inks(pigment). Use a good transfer paper and you should have no problems. I would not sell a faded photo print shirt to anyone.

What Lou said.

Really, you can't go wrong with Jet-Pro SofStretch for light fabrics. Just keep in mind that if you want any white in your shirt and your shirt is not white, you will need to use an opaque transfer like IronAll Dark, as Lou said.

And be sure to use a printer that uses PIGMENT inks.

Telfon sheets in the size of your press are helpful to prevent scorching of the shirt fabric during press time and helps keep the top your press clean.
