Screen printing will always have a minimum order due to the setup process and printing process. It takes too much time to setup and print just "one" t-shirt. Screen printing is a high quality printing method that best setup for larger runs (at least 12+ pieces per design or more to make it effective).
Because it is setup for larger runs, the more t-shirts you run of the same design, the less expensive the per shirt costs will be to you. Basically, you get discounts for larger orders.
You can find a screen printer in your local phone book. Many of them have in house art departments that can help take your design on paper and turn it into a print ready design (for a fee).
You can also hire places like artworksource.com to do the artwork conversion for you.
