Default Copywrite Slogan

I was wondering if I had to or how would I go about copywriting a FOUR word slogan that I would be using on the tags/shirts that I am making, and around how much does it cost for a slogan to be copywrited.

I believe that would not so much come under copy write law but trademark.

hectic is right, it's a trademark issue. More info:
Protecting Slogans

Also, it's copyright, as in Bill of Rights.

Protecting Slogans Link: Great link, it either fires you up to make you step up to the plate to try very hard to be TM'd, or is discouraging in the fact that it is hard to obtain such. Either way, great link, glad I read it, and it's encouraging to know that it can be won that it is yours with very good record keeping, which is what Greg - Comin'outswinging is saying over and over again. Just another verification of it. Thx.

Yes, it can definitely be done (protecting a slogan using a trademark).

It's mainly a matter of proving that your slogan is also a brand.
