USPS is always going to be cheaper than UPS or FedEX....

That said, who is paying for the shipping? Is this an order you don't want to take chances with? How soon does it have to be there?

If the customer or recipient is paying for shipping, and you want guaranteed delivery at a certain time/date, stay away from USPS. Use FedEX or UPS. UPS is generally less expensive on ground shipping, but that's a general statement. I've seen where FedEx ground CAN be less expensive.

Go to the web sites and punch in your info for shipping, they have cost calculators to help you decide. And failing that, go to the local strip mall, find a Pak-Mail or Mailboxes ETC...any shipping center that's NOT UPS Store or Kinkos and ask THEM what's the most economical way to get your package where it needs to go with the greatest security.

Those people generally live and breathe that stuff!

I agree, USPS is not the best way to go especially if it's a customer's order. I personally like DHL, but that's just my preference.

I just seen a story on the news where they did a test to see who was cheapest and they sent a 1lb fruit cake, well ups was $11 , usps was $8.60 and fedex was just alittle over $7, so fed ex was the cheapest. I always thought they were more expensive but apparently not.

USPS offers a flat rate box at $8.95. not sure if you can fir 24 shirts. Otherwise, go with a ground service from Fedex, UPS or DHL.

From concord NH 03301 to Beverly Hills Cali (the only cali zipcode i know and the system we have only quotes from our zipcode) a distance of 2976 miles would cost 11.32 fedex ground and 13.27 home del. the differnce being if its going to a business or a residence. it would take 4 days.

that should give you an idea

For bulk shipping (6+ t-shirts), I think UPS is usually better than USPS.

I like to use the shipping comparison calculator at iShip, Inc.- Multi-Carrier Shipping, compare shipping prices, print labels, and track packages to compare rates to make sure though.

If it's sturdy enough, I don't see why not.

I think you can go USPS Priority up to 70lbs. So with 24 shirts you should be OK.

LOL- umm - okay - yuk - if they've been used..... but - yes for USPS. Can't say for other services. They told my husband any box/carton will do as long as it does not have any barcodes on it. They also said it needs to be large enough for the info to fit on the 'face'. So, the smaller chinese food cartons could give you a problem. Order large.
