Greetings.... looking for a little guidance in selecting a printer.
We are rolling out a product that is described as "rock and roll meets fashion meets sportswear". We are designing garments for local high schools and sports teams that are a little more stylish than what you would usually find in a high school spirit store. Destroyed tees, hoodies, with a couture edge... We are starting locally so print quantities will probably be smaller. Hence the reason for selecting a direct to garment printer... Im using American Apparel and Alternative Apparel for garment (so far).
I've done some research and I've developed an interest in a number of printers:
DTG Bullet
DTG HM-1
Flexi-Jet L
Is there anyone that owns or has worked with these machines that could give me some insight into your experience with them? Your time and input would be greatly appreciated.
Also, is there someone that owns one of these machines that would be willing to print off some of my designs over the next couple of weeks? I would pay a premium if someone would be willing to do this. I plan on attending the ISS show in California in January and purchase my equipment immediately following the show. Just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing
