Sorry if this has been answered in another post, but wondering what the limitation is on parody shirts.

I know Johnny Cupcakes has a few, Air Jordan and the Boston Celtics... How far can you go?

If I wanted take the designs say of a beer brand and change the wording to my own brand would that be copywrite violation?

The problem is it's not clearly defined by law. Parody is what you argue when you are sued, not something that prevents you from getting sued in the first place. So how far can you go? You might be able to go a very long way indeed and get away with it, or something that could barely be considered related without a stretch could get you in trouble.

Intuition and lawyers are what's needed.
