There was a counterfit sting in the "alley" in downtown Los Angeles today. They had a command center set up... I personally watched a few young ladies being handcuffed. I must have seen 50 agents... cuffing, confiscating, chasing... etc., perpatrators. Goods with sport logos, trademarked brands, CD's, sunglasses etc. It was crazy and good to see. I have tm's and it's good to know someone is helping me police my intellectual property. I'm sure I'll see my brands "knocked off" in the alley in the years to come. So all the people wondering will they really find you... cuff and stuff you... I watched it before, then today and I'm sure they will get more proactive. Crazy, to see abandoned kiosks up and down the street... those who didn't run... well it's going to be a long night in county...

Say it isn't so! Downtown LA is one giant fraud in progress. Actually, the entire area from the I-210 down the the I-105 and from the I-605 to the I-405 is so full of corruption that you could throw a rock in any direction and hit a scammer.

Besides, the LA jails are over crowded. You have to be a death row candidate to spend more than a few hours in jail there.

I live in PR and there have been two stings against flea markets, but they just concentrated on DVD MOVIE AND music cd kiosks

They will go to flea markets..swap meets.. and car shows etc.. and check that the people selling are licenced.. And Picture this.. say someone traveled across state lines to sell products they didnt hold the licence to.. well the feds and also take any vehicles that transported the goods.. ....

nooooooooooooo not the alleys........1 or 2 years ago it was cool to go there because you could get just about what ever you wanted. now since the cops are going there more often there are less people going. i grew up going to downtown and the alleys so i find nothing wrong with it and it was awsome there. hope the sales dont stop there. brand name clothing is like half price so its cool and shoes are cheap to, you just have to know how to spot the fakes.
