Lets get your input - how would you spend various startup capital amounts!
I'd like to see everyones creativity and decision making skill.
I will set up certain amounts of money for you to use and you list the equipment/products/supplies in general that you would buy for your clothing business.
This will be fun and ofcoarse help those who just so happen to need ideas/ direction.
You can purchase 1 item with the full amount or many items. Just dont go over the amount given.
What would you buy with the following budgets:
$500.00
$1000.00
$5000.00
$30,000.00
$100,000.00
Then finaly, if money was not an issue what would your dream set up be?
This post would be ridiculously long if I covered each budget, butttt:
If I had 100,000 dollars I would buy some of the following:
For Product Development
-Belt Printer
-Industrial Sewing Machine
-Screen Printer
-CS3
-iMac
For Product Marketing
-HD Video Camera
-High Def Canon Photography Camera
-Industrial Full-Color Printer
-Gloss Paper, Cardstock, Etc.
Those are the basics. I still have a lot of learning to do within this industry, but that's where I hope to be some day. All my needs- kept under one roof.
Re: Lets get your input - how would you spend various startup capital amounts!
For $100K I would lease a 14 station auto screen print, a 54" solvent printer, and a 20 head embroidery machine, get an 8K/sqft industrial space, hire a couple of hungry outsides sales people and a good shop manager, get a good artist, hold my breath and start running.
Target sales would be $400K/Month within 4 months.
Re: Lets get your input - how would you spend various startup capital amounts!
If I only had $1K I would just do outside sales and outsource everything. I would make a deal with my suppliers to get a 10-15% commish and then purchase equipment when I was doing $500K/year in sales.
