Hello, I looked everywhere online to try to find information on how to put flock on t shirts. Couldn't find it anywhere. Will someone please tell me how its done? Thank you very much. Jen
Re: Need someone to explain how to do flock please
Thanks a lot High. No Corel doesn't matter, just put that there cause the field needed something.
I'm only trying to find out how putting flock on a t shirt is done. Can it be done with flock transfer paper of some kind, if so what kinds are there, I looked and couldn't find any. Or is it done by applying glue to the T-shirt first in some sort of design and then some sort of powder on top of that, or something else?

The field doesn't require anything (it just has them as options when relevant), and this was posted in the wrong forum.

Yes, that's a pretty accurate description of two of the three ways you can do it.
You can cut it from sheets with a plotter and apply it with a heat press. You can screenprint adhesive and apply it from sheets with a heat press. And you can screenprint adhesive and apply loose flock fibres.

Thanks everyone that clears it up better, what does the term "weed" mean in this case and where can I find flock rolls. I looked them up online and can't find any. Please let me know, thanks.

Weeding is where you remove the excess flock/vinyl: the plotter cuts the shape into the sheet, but the design and the background are still on the sheet. You remove the bits you don't want by hand so only the design is left on the sheet to transfer.

It might be easier to look for vinyl suppliers, and then see if they also do flock. Imprintables Warehouse sell vinyl. If you check out the vinyl section of the forums you'll be able to find other suppliers, at least some of whom should stock flock.
This is a discussion about Need someone to explain how to do flock please that was posted in the General T-Shirt Selling Discussion section of the forums.
