Default epson compatible cis printers

Hi, i'm looking at buying a new printer. Either a Epsom CX 8400, or a RX 595. Are either of these compatible with current CIS systems? any help really appreciated

I know they have refillable carts, but do not think they make a CIS system for those printers.
You may want to have a look on eBay for CIS and see just what printers are CIS compatible.
CIS, Printer Supplies Accessories, Parts Accessories items on eBay.com

All in one printers will not take a CIS system.

As an ex Epson rep and knowing the product an all In one printer has a scanner on top and thus the lid can not remain open in doing scans. if She has a CIS system how do the tubes from the ink into the cartridges not get piched when the scanner lid is closed on yop of the printer. All CIS systems have tubes which extend out of the printer. A regualr printer (C88+) is capable of operating with the lid open.

I use an R-300 with a Print on a Dime CIS so I know how they work.
As for the printers with a scanner lid.A little more work than your normal setup, but it works.Inkrepublic.com sells one.
Take a look at the fitting style near bottom of page.
