i need to quote a client for 12 softball uniforms. they want them numbered on the back. what is the standard charge for athletic numbering. i will be doing basic 1 color block numbers screen printed.

I buy my numbers from transfer express and charge 3.00 per number to apply.
I have never gotten any complaints about price.

Between $2-3 per number is the norm.

I just did some price checking since we are opening up shop next week. The going price here is anywhere from 1-2 dollars for double numbers. Single numbers range from .50 to 1.25.

If you don't have the screens already made with numbers then I would definitely use transfer express or even Ace Transfers sells numbers I believe.

I always use TransferExpress. The transfers are great...never any problems pressing and much better than any vinyl. I charge $3.00 for a name/or number but you may want to adjust for price by size. The larger numbers for the back of team uniforms (8") would definitely be at the $3.00 and up range. Hope this helps

what kind of transfers are you talking about? plastisol?

The transfers are screened plastisol transfers. They have several different ink formulas but I think I always get their "Goof Proof" It may depend on the type of fabric you are using.

Hello......Also check Stahls.com and order numbers in 6" or 8".....I sell the 6" numbers for .75c per digit and the 8" for $1 per digit....when you order a numbers kit with a box, you will have leftovers for another day....this will save you the freight each time you order from Transfer Express.................BIG TEE
