I have been thinking about starting my own clothing brand starting out with shirts and tees..but i dont know around how much start up fees would be..should i start off first buying wholesale tees and printing designs on them to raise money or just go for it and look for shirts and tees,making my own stitch logo and putting custom tags on them? what would be better money wise?

Do you want to put the artwork onto the shirts yourself, or have someone else do that part? Or, are you looking into embroidery?

You've mentioned having a stitched logo.

The best way to find out what the startup fees would be would be to start getting quotes from websites that sell t-shirts wholesale and do printing.

That way you can get the information directly from the source.

Oh I see what you meant. The stitched logo was just for the tag on the neck of the shirt.

I misunderstood that part.
