Default Trying to ID an Incredibly Soft Billabong T-Shirt

Can anyone help identify the manufacturer of an incredibly soft Billabong T-shirt I found at Pac Sun? It is tagged 'Slim Fit' 'Custom Cut' and imprinted 'Made in the USA'. The Vendor # is 00322 and SKU is 03627502. The PacSun staff had no idea. It is an amazing shirt ($29.95).

Thanks.

Jeff

as with most large companies, I do believe that billabong has their blanks manufactured overseas. The "Made in the USA" may simple be a way around stating that the shirt was constructed overseas, because it was printed in the states. There are plenty of blanks manufacturers in the US who make soft and fitted shirts, and can all be found under the "preferred vendors" column to the left... I would reccomned American Apparel, Continental, and Pacific Sports.

Is it legal to state "made in the UK" when actually the only done was the screen print? With the shirt actually being made overseas?

I doubt it. Despite what jl says above it's definitely not legal in the US or Australia (in the case of the US there is one way around it though: exploiting US protectorates).
