Do most of you here copy right your work? Do you want till the copyright certificate comes in to start producing your product or you just produce them once you have sent you images to copyright facility?
Your work is automatically copyrighted by you doing the work. If it is original and you know that it has not been done before then you can place the little c in a circle nest to the design. You do not need a certificate from the copyright office. By the way have you checked what can be copyrighted. a lot of people making tees think they can put a slogan on a tee and copyright it. Not the case. Slogans can not be copyrighted. Original works of art or designs can.

Yes i had looked into the copyright info. Ok i have another question you had mentioned original work say what if you saw an image on the internet and used it but altered and added thing to it is that consider stealing someones else work and can you get in trouble for that? I have seen lots of tee with famous logos or picture on them.

Yes, and yes.

I've seen lots of people speeding or doing drugs. Same thing; just because people do it, doesn't make it legal.
I thought copyrights were for publications and trademarks were for artworks found on t-shirt designs. Am I missing something?
Basically copyrights are for works of art (in almost any medium: writing, photography, music, design, etc.) and trademarks are for branding. Pithy t-shirt slogans can't be copyrighted, so you either convince the USPTO they're worth trademarking (often fails), or can't have them protected.
